I was wondering, is there anything that can be done to lengthen the time before it's required to sign back in with username and password?

I usually keep several programs minimized and try to jump back into conversations as time permits.

It would be lovely if this time/login feature could be lengthened, or even taken off, so "refresh-happy" posters like me can go away and come back. Is it a security issue?

Obviously, I'm a bit tech challenged, so if it comes with the template and can't be modified, I'll continue to do what I've been doing. smile

There's a "keep me login" option when you enter your login and password.

Lenght is at maximum right now, can't do more.

I will askn if, there's a problem among the other boards, otherwise there's not much I can do !

I logged off and logged back on to see what you meant, I see the "log me on automatically each visit" but my work firewall won't permit that, I'll look harder for the "Keep me login" indicator.

This won't be the first time. I asked one time how I log off somewhere, and it was Literally right beside my Username.

Thanks for whatever you can do, Lez. smile

Thanks! If I'm the only one with the difficulty, then we can both chalk it up to operator malfunction. Otherwise, it might ease navigation from click-happy people like me who can also have long pauses between entries.

That would solve my Episode Impression Glitch, too. smile You know how long winded I can get, *curtsy*

It never happens to me, but now that you mention it, I have seen you say it happens to you, before.

Nothing so far. Checked everything, and :

Code:
Time in minutes before a member is considered "Offline" :
 Limit = 60

Can't do much.

60 minutes would be great, but it's more like 10 minutes for me. Like I said about asking the administrator once where the log off button was, and she said, "right by your username" , it might be something on my end.

It happens at work and at home, though. I'll continue to check it out, and thank you very much for your attention to it!

Hey, I don't know if Lez or Elliot's recently tweaked anything, but my logon remained current although it had been minimized for a good 30 minutes. Excellent, Thanks!

Addtional note 1/25: It works great now. My chatty muse should be slowly coming back soon. smile
