I thought the same things as both of you when I saw that--it could be just a mistake, the urge to write that 'o' because you know in your automatic senses that a heart is not a letter.......... but then, continuity would not let a mistake like that pass, would they? Not with a big clean clear shot of the writing.

They could have done it at an angle, quick like, if they just wanted it to be that she'd labeled it with the hearts so when Peter found it he'd know it was his, from her, and we'd not have seen the weirdness of the 'n'.

And maybe the whole alchemical thing I am taking out of proportion, catching Peter's paranoia. But BR started it with the symbols in that ability box. . .

Knowing they have their season 3, they could have let that mistake pass....

I don't believe they make mistakes like that. They're obsessive about details. They tweak shows right up to a half hour before transmission to get details the way they want them.

It would have been an easy one to fix, CD's are dead cheap. And with the sort of iron-clawness, the very in-your-face presentation of it, they knew what they were doing.

What they were doing is yet for us to understand, I guess.

CD's may be cheap, but if they had noticed that mistake too late, they would have to pay a computer artist to make the thing disappear, and it would have cost much more.

They're close to the season finale, editing is always faster, Fox claims the final edited videos at the beginning of the day.

And the close-up on the CD, I think that was mostly to show us that it was the same as in the restaurant.

They're obsessive, yes, but they also know that anyone dedicated fan out here will look for a reason to that, even if there's none.

And that cuts both ways. You want to believe it means nothing and is a mistake, and we think it might mean something. It doesn't have to relate to the alchemy stuff.

They wouldn't have had to pay a computer artist, they could have just re-shot the less than a second of footage with a different cd. It's silhouetted in the dark, it could be easily done. Even easier nowdays with digital editing than when I was in the theater and using tape.

I'm not saying I know what it means, but I do think it's possible it's there for the same amount of reason as the drawings, the chalkboards, the globes, etc.

Well, I don't care. It can mean something or not.

Get out! Where did you read/hear that? That's amazing................

Well then, if that's true, Mr. Pinkner! Help this fan out, please! I can't figure out how the serial killer hooked up with Newton. Or visa versa. Please, put it in an interview, so Elliot can find it and show me!

Yes, please, do!

Here's a tasty treat... that album, "Seven Suns", that Walter is holding up in NwP? Doesn't exist. Nor the band, either. I looked it up today, as I really should have known about it, esoteric old rock bands are one of my things.. nada, zip, bupkis. Except for JJ Abrams' issue of wired magazine. And the fake youtube video up about it, which sounds a lot like talking to Newton on the phone.

Song titles from that album:
1. Seven Suns (Rising)
2. Slow Vibrations
3. Hovercraft Mother
4. She's Doing Fine (the song Walter puts on)
5. Long List of Lovers
6. Keep Climbing
7. 500 Years
8. Last Man In Space
9. Seven Suns (Setting)
10. Re Fa Mi Si Sol La
11. Greenmana
--------------------
I've a pic of the cover, there are certain letters in the titles highlighted... maybe just colorful, maybe not.

Sometimes there is just a butterfly in the Bishop kitchen window, sometimes there are globes........ they appeared when Olivia came to say she'd found peter:

When they are cleaning up the house for Walter:

Olivia comes to take Walter to get Peter:

The butterfly plus the dead butterflies frame in the Bishop's house can be seen everytime there's a scene there............

When will Walter cook frogs legs ?

Yeah, the butterfly stained glass is there, but the globes appeared after Astrid did the dishes and before Olivia got back.

The album cover smile

edit : I remember the book, The Ashes of Worlds
(the Saga of Seven Suns series) by Kevin J. Anderson, but does anyone know this music album ?

I suppose this is a fictious/alter album from Violet Sedan Chair ?

Yes, I mentioned this already, it's one of JJ Abrams' things for the issue of Wired Magazine he made, it is full of stuff that didn't exist until he thought of it. In the article where he mentions Violet Sedan Chair, he is talking about missing songs, hidden stuff--that supposedly if you play a certain song on two different players at the same time, you will hallucinate. Only the song isn't on the album.

(*blinks* *remembers* This is the same for 'Stairway to Heaven'.......JJ, you crafty devil, you're referring to that song by referencing one that doesn't exist!! And that song fits....) And of course Walter would have had that album.
