i can't see the point in hiring JJ and leaving him with nothing to do....

Exactly. I would think he would be getting a bit bored by now. Contrasting to the only other shows I watched so closely, Buffy and X-files, they had lots of plots and action involving all the characters, not just people sitting around the edges being cute and one person having all the cool stuff to do. And frankly, BadRobot, Peter being all dead and everything is NOT enough. I'd love to see him have action scenes, have him matter more than just being a sentimental prisoner of Walter's, and an errand boy for Olivia. You could almost use one of the supermodelquins from the Old Navy ads, for all they let him do. In the pilot, his part of the chase scene was almost equal to hers, and he made Steig give them the names of the chemicals, and made Walter formulate it correctly..... now he just has a great rolodex??

yep, it's odd, --ithought he would be a little more vocal about it. - Elliot wrote:

in an ensemble show if tptb want viewers to stick, they should flesh out ALL the characters. i mean not only giving them things to do -that's a minimal requirement, but also give them a backgroud to work with - Elliot wrote:

| So is this episode a cliff-hanger? - Spoiler:
Kidnapped and then rescued by Walter? Like he's a lost umbrella? How humiliating. The writers would make Olivia self- rescuing, he'd better be too.

Peter used to say creeps instead of crêpes when he was a child, how cute

| Wait---------------they cut out the scene where he disarmed that guy of his rifle, with his bare hands!! Now they're lying to us in the promos, and lying to Jackson too (by having him film action scenes, but taking them away from him in editing)? To make time for a scene in a stripper bar, or for more carnage at the convenience store?
That sucks big time. Peter Bishop: lost umbrella. Yeah, that's a role I'd ask my agent to get for me.
