I doubt BR is enough into iconography to have only made it a comment on Peter being a man of ...appetites..., and since it's constant, I think they have a purpose with it. I just hope they let us in it before the end of the show. All kinds of secret in jokes they are planning on letting us know about later won't do us any good if the show goes off the air before they film them or we see them.
AMEN!

I'd be deeply mad.

I confess to being increasingly worried about that. A 6-year plan won't do us any good if it never comes to fruition. And much as I like movies, a feature after cancellation would not do it for me, either.

At this point, all I can offer for consolation is try not to worry too much, and hope Fox will still see merit in broadcasting a JJ Abrams series.
Having already gone through the wringer with the tv show "Moonlight", I've learned the most ardent fan support will be squashed by the networks if they choose to cancel a show.
That being said, I'm far from believing the show will be cancelled. I'm fussing and grousing that I want the plot to make more headway to get more viewers involved. By this point surely the writers realize it's the hardcore fans who Want the Overarcing story to come forward, not keep throwing us these endless 'stand alone' shows that few fans seem to appreciate.

I love the standalones, not seeing them as just that--there is background in them too-- I want most of all for the characters to develop, for the story to go forward (I care more about what they will do next than their pasts). For me the characters ARE the story.
And I think they will at least get a third season, but at this point I worry that so much will get shifted into s3 that viewership will drop off and they won't finish s3 or the story.

I suppose I read others' opinions too much. Although I like the stand-alones, I'm not salivating for them like I do the Overarcing episodes.
And YES, I want that 3rd season. I have other shows I like, but not like this one. Our tv went on the fritz for a few days, we could get tv sound without picture or tv picture without sound. We watched tons of movies. It was fixed yesterday. The humor of the situation was as husband apologized to me for not figuring it out, I said, "Sweetie, it's fine. As long as it's fixed by Thursday, I'm fine.

I am so there with you! That and Castle, which at least they do re-runs of.

Yep ! But Olivia is there to help him sleep, if needed.

I don't know why, I assume he likes to emphasize that he's doesn't take anything to wake him up or put him to sleep.
I know, I know, for a fan who fusses about how moody Peter is, I think the actor is a health enthusiast of sorts. He seems sleepy for some of the cons, but he never seems like he's 'on something'. In this day and age, sort of refreshing. He still makes silly innuendo jokes, but I like how 'what you see is what you get', even if I don't like his P/O answers.
I hope this makes sense, I don't know how Olivia manages to looks so refreshed most of the time, "Bad Dreams" aside.

He can't be that much of a health nut if he smokes, even cigars... and the circles under his eyes are (in this case at least!) Peter's, not necessarily Josh's, no?
It is totally refreshing though for Josh not to be a plastic person, all air-brushed and perfect. That is one of the things I find hilarious about Mark Valley, he looks like a Ken doll. I like more... rough edges. I don't even mind the innuendoes, though he'd likely find my elbow in his ribs fairly often.

I wish I could keep my current posting title, "Is Going to Be Fine",
You'll get to point and make fun of me when "Human Target" gets started. Although I was never a J/O fan, I've wanted Mark Valley to get some recognition since he did the Outstanding "Keen Eddie" 7-8 episodes with Sienna Miller.
Ken Doll! I didn't know you felt that way about Mark Valley! Don't worry, I'll live. I don't even know if I can get into "Human Target", but I know I like Chi McBride from "Pushing Daisies" and "Let's Go to Prison". Maybe it's comic book origins will finally appeal to that teenage boy demographic "Fringe" keeps lusting after!

He really does remind me of Ken.... and a bit of Deputy Dog, there's a comic book character the Fringe marketing department probably aren't going after!
I love illustrated things, but for the illustration more than for "comic book hero" stuff. My favorite cartoonists are (argh, who drew Calvin & Hobbes?), and the guy who draws "Mutts"--who includes loads of other art references. I'm more attracted to the visuals than the superhero stuff. And sadly, I find the ads for Human Target looking very very silly.... hope it is meant to be? But I LOVE Chi McBride. Pushing Daisies was wonderfully weird.

Yes!! Thank you. And the one who draws Mutts--you would like that too I think... getting out my glasses here to read the signature line... Patrick McDonnell. He has a couple of books out, beautiful stuff. And some hilariously true animal behavior.

Did you ever see "Let's Go to Prison"? Offensive and absolutely Hilarious! Sure, the ending could have been a little stronger, (No pun intended), but at a couple of points I had to catch my breath I was laughing so hard! Dax Shepard's funniest role yet.
