Opening the Fanart section to Guests

Elliot and I were talking about opening the Fanart section to Guests.

This would mean not registered members could read the topics and see your art.

Creating two sections would be complicated, or we have another solution :
People who don't want their art to be seen by guests, can use the "hidden" tags (these work like the spoiler tags). Anything posted bewteen "hidden" tags cannot be seen by people who haven't posted in the topic.

Guest can read only, but can't post. So guests will be able to read or see anything not in the hidden tags, but not the hidden content.

You can find the hidden tags in the "others" button, along with the spoiler tags.

Your opinion matters, so please, let us know what you think, vote, and you have any other suggestions about this Fanart section, don't hesitate !

One question about the "hidden" tags. Do regular members have to post in a thread in order to see the art? Because then nobody sees anything until they have posted in your thread? That sounds like what happens, but it doesn't seem like what you meant; can you explain that further?

(For me, I don't mind who sees, I'm fine with anyone seeing my art, so the 'hidden' thing is theoretical for me.)

Hm, yes, that's the biggest problem. I'm trying to see if there's any other solution, but right now, there ain't.

How much of a problem is it though? Only if people want to hide their art, right? Is that a concern for lots of us? A person can watermark images, or activate 'do not allow save' in their photo host account, if it's piracy they fear.
