Could that be the scenes we saw in the promo trailer after the Finale ?

The one where we see Peter and Olivia walking between cars, and the girl waking up and speaking "delta echo charlie"-like ?

Wow thanks for that link! I hadn't realized there was an unaired episode from Season one.

I just hope FOX does some major promoting so people know about it airing on a different day/time.

That was my guess, Lez--in that promo, someone goes bursting up out of a basement staircase to the outside....

I just can't wait to see that.

Remember they said he was in another episode besides that last one? I think this was perhaps that one they had in the can already before they knew if they would be renewed, or not. Which might mean it has confusing possible ending stuff in it? Or.... a gal can dream... P/O stuff???

The idea of Charlie in an episode aired in Season 2, thats considered "new" but filmed in season one is just---giving me a headache.

The average viewer that tunes in (even if its on Monday) is not likely to know it was filmed in season one. Isn't this going to confuse them?

Because of the hiatus. If it wasn't suppose to air, they didn't bother paying editors to edit the vids.
But they've seen what the hiatus was for us, didn't want us to mix up the "fake" and "real" season 2 beginning, so they wait for a bigger hiatus than between 2x05 and 2x06 to show us this one ?

They could have wait and put in the DVDs, though......................

I'm fairly happy that I'm pretty sure I'll be able to see it. The 11th is my first night of classes, but it ends early, and Fringe is on late. I rarely get to see the show on time.

I'll be at school late, but with the timezones, I'll see on Tuesday, a day I only have two hours of class.

Lez that makes sense, that they want it not to be confused with this season's stuff.

It's a good break. We may have to consider this as "hey, let's watch a movie, three days before the new episode of Fringe. Oh, the characters look very much like those on Fringe !"

I wish they could have air this special episode earlier, like late December ? Because airing it three days only before a new one..... hm.

They seem very...."muse on a banana peel"... good ideas, inconsistent on execution.

Yes, gratuitous P/O would be nice.

What concerns me is that we'll be able to enjoy the episode even though we've seen 10 episodes into the second season.

Doesn't that seem weird to anyone? I think it's one of the problems of the show, that they have so many episodes that they could show completely out of order, and because the pace is so slow, nobody missed this episode in the general story or, it' one of those 'stand alone' episodes. [b]

Either way, it's odd they can 'slip in a show' we missed last spring because they were promoting "Glee". Granted, "Glee" has lived up to it's potential, but our little mis-fit toy is still a superb cast and premise In Search of better Direction.

I'm totally used to this. I've watched all episodes/seasons (except the fifth) of Bones in the wrong order.

You guys seriously have to watch episodes out of order? That must be fun!

If it's a stand alone episode, I suppose like any of the other stand alone episodes, it can be plopped down in the run of a season and nobody is the wiser.

Yes, like's what already has been echoed, maybe some P/O will slip in there. But we know already it won't be anything new or earthshaking. P and O didn't act like anything different happened during "There's More than One of Everything".

Oh well, back to the "At least it's another new episode!" party.

Not anymore. For a couples of years, they air the episodes in order.

I don't mind it being out of order, either-- I've been watching the dvds in random order, and that's ok... I read books backwards... I even read the newspaper upside down.

I doubt seriously not airing it was BR's decision, and perhaps airing it at this particular point now isn't theirs either, so I'm not certain they don't think it's important. If that was the case, I doubt they'd have bothered to film it.

One of the cool things about a puzzle anyway is being able to figure out where the pieces fit, so in a way this is more Pattern-esque than having it all laid out for us in order, anyway. Plus, standalone does not equal unimportant.
