| Since I wasn't able to post this opinion elsewhere, and I'm still hoping to get back on at , I'll try to remember what I tried to post, then lost on Saturday. "Fracture" - Easily the best episode yet. After the Shock scene, which I liked a lot, then we go to a lesson between Sam Weiss and Olivia. She's trying to tie her shoes, but her hands are trembling. Sam gives a puzzling riddle for tying somebody's TIE, but somehow in this case it's supposed to apply to shoes. Sam comes over, places Olivia's foot in his lap, and ties it for her while describing how much of a mess Nina was when she was learning to use her prosthetic arm. Then abruptly says the lesson is over. Olivia will hopefully get used to this empathetic, then cursory dismissal style, Sam does seem to be doing SOMETHING for her. I was going to go into a long, drawn out opinion, but I'm too intrigued with little "Incoming" flash of messaging......So I'll be going in and out of the episode impressions. | |

| You know, that bunny down the hole reference was actually to how you tie a bowline, a rigging knot--never heard it in ref to tying a tie....? But it works for the Alice-to my-rabbit reference.
I wasn't that wild for this episode, liked the previous one better--and Sam aggravates me to no end, the 'cut the yoda crap' line had me cheering!
I did love Broyles ok-ing a fake passport for Peter, and him telling them to look out for each other. The Iraq scenes felt rushed, do you know if this writer/director combo did any episodes last year, maybe it's a stylistic thing?

| I was really concerned when the picture came out with Olivia and Peter "toasting" a shot in what could only be construed as a middle eastern setting with her headdressing. It didn't seem believable. Lez tried to teach me what it was, *hinting*, maybe I can get her to repeat it? It still may not have been believable, woman having a shot, even under the bar, so to speak, but it was a charming scene. And I thought of Lez and you when Peter toasted, To All That's Wierd . Lez, you might want to change your signatures to that, Or, you might want to keep it just like you have it since you've already taught us all that it's Actually "To Everything Wierd". The unexpected laugh to myself was, after Peter insisted on a fake Passport, Broyles said, "Well I'll have to have a Federal Agent accompiany you" I snorted, "HA!" . I don't know why that was funny, maybe the way they both lean into Broyles as he faces the camera. Check it out, it's cute. I LOVED the last bowling alley scene where Sam scared Olivia AND me by saying one of her hands seemed smaller. "Great, that's all she needs, is to start shrinking". I really like Sam, but I empathized with Liv. But, then, obviously at the end, he was TRYING to make her angry. Apparently that speeds healing. "All I need is the air that I breathe, and to love You", the song was woven into the scene so nicely! Yup, my favorite episode this season yet. | |

Elliot expressed similar sentiment. I guess I got all Shippy when they were leaving the leutenant's house, walking to the car, and his query about her headache. I wonder why she said the doctors said it was normal?

| Maybe because she doesn't want to be, doesn't know how to be, vulnerable? If you've been taking care of others instead of yourself for a long time, you forget you can ask for help. Forget to know you need help. | |

| I was excited to see she got rid of the cane, but at the same time I Liked seeing Olivia vulnerable. That little gun scene with her pointing one at Sam's head, funny and tense at the same time. I think I come across a little like that at work sometimes. | |

| Yes, she doesn't want him to see her like that. She knows he cares, but.... she knows that if she tells him she's not fine, he'll stick around, maybe too close for her right now. | |

| Interesting. Especially since that man in the bar practically spat out that, if Peter was good at anything, it was looking out for Peter. I DID really like the look on his face when she offered to stand outside, he's shifting his eyes around the room, and says something like, "What would I do, then? You've got the gun." | |

| I hope there is some more explanation for that scene--did he run out on someone? The man was scarred... | |

| Ahmed looks scared, and he had these big scars on the left side of his face..... Maybe Peter left him alone, and he got injured ? | |

| There seemed some obvious remorse on Peter's face. Ahmed? has gone through a bomb explosion. Wildly guessing, I think that somehow Peter backed out of a situation (one of you guys thought Peter ran weapons?) and left some coworkers to get blown up.
In the first scene we met Peter, he was offering to build an oil pipeline, and offering to provide security for it. I think, it's been a while since I saw the Pilot.

| Fracture made me want to learn more and more about Peter's backstory, but I'm glad we're not getting it all at once. | |

Hello, YOU! It'll be fun to see what kind of place Peter and Walter get! The boy's a saint if he's been sleeping on the couch for a year! Probably not that long in TV time, but even 6 months, it's long enough!

| I'm betting that this new appartment, they'll manage to rent it but... I doubt Peter, for his first night in this new housing, will sleep in his bed. I have the curious sensation that Olivia will knock at the door, when he was about to test his new bed, and tell him she can't sleep, she's having nightmares, flashes, headaches.... he'll tell her she can sleep in his bed, and that he'll take the couch. Wishful thinking.

| I'm with both of you, there. But sleeping on a couch for that long, he's definitely more of a softy than he lets on. : | |

| I had thought the same thing, that he will end up on the couch there as well, with Olivia in his bed. So are we receiving, or broadcasting to BR? | |
