I don't know what to think about the youtube link.....do you think is related with the episode or they want to mess.....I heard in other side that john noble suggested to look to this fringe chapter ( on twitter)

That certainly could be the mistake that needs to be fixed! The person wasn't supposed to die... and Walter can fix it ?? except his tinkering with that physicist's equations never happened! Maybe they drag out the device from FBI storage (the transporter!)???

I thought the novels (and the animated versions) and the comics were parallel, or--filling in--- but not strictly canon? What Noble said in the tweetathon was to look at that chapter and then ask what the very last line meant (he is still alive).

in the novel, it looked like the observer was observing Bobby, who had had a dream about visiting his suddenly aged father in a nursing home; in the animated bit on yt, the observer appears to be observing Peter instead.

Maybe it is an analogy? The way the ballerina and her dancing master were an analogy to Olivia and Peter?

There are parallel, they can contain references and hints, like the vairon eyes, the time machine, the Hitler story, but what happens in these stories isn't canon.
