| I have no idea if it's considered SPOILER-ish or not - and it has yet to be confirmed anyway here you go, that's an interview with Nimoy by the LA Times - Spoiler:
Fringe coming to an end?

| Here's the whole Article Okay I read the entire article - Spoiler:
and you scared the crap outta me! It doesn't say anything about Fringe coming to an end BUT more about Nimroy not feeling fulfilled as an actor with what he's been offered on Fringe. That he might not come back to the show.

| haha yeah I nearly had a heart attack and could feel the tears ready! I'm not ready - Spoiler:
for Fringe to end. I agree it would be disappointing - Spoiler:
if Bell was no longer in the show. Though he hasn't done a HUGE amount of episodes. It's nice to have him available for further down the line---and perhaps if the writers come up with something exciting for him to do acting-wise, he'd be willing to come back.

| Don't scare us like that! About Fringe. - Spoiler:
Nimoy I would leave in a ditch.
I say, let the portal hit him in the a** on the way out the door! - Spoiler:
I never liked how much the producers and actors seemed to have to grovel around him. And the show did just fine before him, it will do quite well without him.

| Same here. If he's not looking for work, we can have another William Bell ?! After all, alter doesn't physically the same. Alter Bell could have a different father, but still be approximately the same. | |

| Or they can have Bell just - Spoiler:
die, he's sick, let him go. The story doesn't have to have a live Bell for the story to continue. His records, paperwork, his notes can all be there, what he told Nina (yay she can have the screen time they'd have given him!).... he's not necessary. Old diva.

| You guys crack me up to no end! Leonard Nimoy gave us a great shot in the arm at the end of last season with his guest appearance, and the much anticipated meeting between Olivia and Bell this year did not disappoint me. - Spoiler:
He's almost 80 years old, I actually think it would be natural for Bell to succumb to whatever lung ailment prompted his long, slow draw on his oxygen mask. Just as Mark Valley lent his considerable talents to launching the show, Nimoy was a jewel of a character in the all-too-brief meeting with Olivia. He alternated between beneficent father figure and calculating visionary. I've seen several second-in-commands undergo a personality change once the territory belongs to her, and I eagerly await Nina's transition from Faithful Second to CEO. As far as the show itself, I'd feel better if we were in the 7-9 million viewer range, but I'm not going to underestimate the influence JJ Abrams has with FOX on present or future endeavors. I have a fangirl passion for Pinkner, Orci, and Kurtzman, and faith in whatever mad science they choose to scare me. | |

| They never said - Spoiler:
he would be a regular, so I don't think they are desolated by this. And I can totally see Nina taking command!

| Live Long and Prosper Leonard Nimoy, whether on "Fringe" or not! I've been having a terrific birthday-week, as it's turned out. I really planned for it to be a non-issue, but husband keeps surprising me, and my birthday excitement has melded into vacation excitement. I'm off after today for 2 weeks, yea! We plan to head out tomorrow sometime. The weather may dictate whether we take the northern or southern routes. I wanted to go to Seaworld, but now we'd rather spend the extra $150 on something else along the way. Mr. Cathy may get spastic about it and do it as soon as we get up, but I've begged him to pack like we did in the old days of dinner theater packing, get everything assembled in the living room so we won't squeeze ourselves out of the RV. One suitcase of clothes per person, and we have to pack for serious cold as well as highs into the 80's. It's been both extremes out there in the same year. Desert climate. | |
