| technicall not (we're writing the same way), but you can hear, when someone's talking, if he's from Austria or Germany. In Austria people talk kinda...sloppy? sometimes we swallow vocals and stuff. I mean my mother's from Germany so I speak a mixture of austrian and german german, but all in all it's not that different | |

I can only agree with Brown Betty, that sentence is correct And Brown Betty, I wouldn't call the austrian german sloppy  It's just another dialect, sounds a bit different when you hear it!! | |

| Yes you're right, but then again I think you have to say the "High German" is the exact one, cause you know we have a lot of accents inside of Germany and for example the Bavarian German is also not that exact | |
