Yes. Maybe she knows alt-elizabeth because they worked together for a while.

Or were neighbors--just random. And while I have loved finally having Peter be the center of the story, and have adored Walter's role/Noble's acting---- I too would like to get the focus off the stolen boy dynamic and on to other things. The war for example, more of Peter's lawless past, and that purple tuxedo. And Nina's place in things...

I agree with you Elliot, and i think that part of that will be developed in the next season I'd like to know the agreement between Peter and Nina. I discovered that from mines in Perù is extracted a large amount of mercury.
I formulated a theory about Peter, his sign of zodiac and the observers. But i don't know where to post

Is that a 'dreaded double post' or am I just really tired from gardening? Yes, I look forward to reading your theory!

Hah! I am tired, but there you are, twice!
(Another forum I am on is currently having difficulties--the posts are doubled within the post, so it looks like everything was typed twice on purpose. A bit annoying!)

I deleted the double post.

What I meant was, one : yes, to go in another direction that the kidnapping; and two : I'm not interested in Walter/Walternate or the relationship between Peter and Walter. It bothered me so much that they chose to make Walternate bad, that now I will only follow Fringe because of Olivia, Astrid, Observers, and P/O.

You do know this is the original basis for Fringe, right? To explore the relationship between a modern day Dr. Frankenstein and his son. Olivia was added as a way to help the audience approach them. The story has indeed grown, and I love the various other threads, but that is the grounding of the whole story. I would never give up on the P/O story, but P/W is telling amazing things. Though of course I want the rift healed fast so we can go back to the status of 'Bishop Boys Kick Multi-Universe Butt While Laughing Inappropriately at Gruesome Things'.

Why? I know you've said that before, but I don't think you said why.

According to Ausiello, the first episode will be called... "Olivia".
Which makes me wonder... could that be a flashback ? I doubt they would do this, but.... "Peter" was about Peter's childhood, and since we know Olivia's mother will make an appearance...

I hope not, it is too early for them to be repeating devices. In fact, I hope they don't ever fall in that trap (of doing a flash back for her since they did one for him).
And they said, I think, that this is solely Alt-Livia's mum. Didn't they? They did say we'll only see her Over There.

Yes, it is Alt-Livia, plus she's not shooting before the third episode, so....

I suppose too that they may play around with the titles, and us, a bit. The way they did last summer. I just hope they keep the numbering in order this time!

And this from Trekmovie:
Last Thursday JJ Abrams Fringe won two acting Saturn Awards (Ann Torv and Leonard Nimoy. TrekMovie spoke to Nimoy and Torv along with Fringe’s Lance Reddick before the show. Torv talked about season 3 of Fringe and being the last actress to work with Nimoy. Reddick talked about S3 and his goal of getting into the Star Trek sequel. And Nimoy reacted to Bill Shatner’s disbelief of his retirement. See video and more photos below
Fringe actors talk Star Trek and Nimoy and Fringe Season 3 Lance Reddick
Expects S3 of Fringe to "spend a lot of time going back and forth between universes"
Expects to see "a lot of development" between the two Olivias
Says he is a really big Star Trek fan, with Voyager as favorite show
Reddick "had a crush" on Captain Janeway
Favorite VOY episode "Year of Hell"
He has "absolutely" lobbied for a part in Star Trek, but it was too late for first movie
Abrams said maybe a role in the sequel
Thinks it is possible that William Bell (Nimoy) can return to Fringe, as "anything is possible" with JJ Abrams
Anna Torv
Shooting starts next week on season 3
Expects that the casting of her mother is for the mother of the alternate universe Olivia
She didn’t until later her scenes with Nimoy for Fringe were to be his last as an actor, but says he still got a huge round of applause when he wrapped
Leonard Nimoy:
Didn’t get much time with Nimoy, only got asked to react to William Shatner’s claim that his retirement isn’t real, Nimoy’s only reaction was "who?"

It's not like we won't end up having snippets available elsewhere soon, anyway. And the details they gave were quite thorough.
