Season 3 General Spoilers (#3)

I tend to totally discount what Josh says about the future of relationships on Fringe, as he either is kept totally in the dark and left to guess, or he is still trying to kill off the benchwarmers. Remember he maintained that Peter came back for his father, all spring and summer, and now it's that Peter came back for Olivia.

I don't want Fringe to be another tabloid show all about who's sleeping with whom & whose baby is whose, I won't watch that.

Nina, NINA! Finally! I really miss her character, and Massive Dynamic.

PW: And now you've got twice as many with the alternate universe.
Jasika: I know! It’s crazy! And a lot of them are the same people, just in different worlds ... and you're going to start seeing alternate people in our universe for the first time. We’ve seen it the other way, but it’s going to start happening the other way around pretty soon. It’s limitless. I’m assuming if there are two worlds, there are an unlimited number of worlds.

PW: Then last week's episode showed us The Observer's can bring people back from the past as well -- will we see more of that?
Jasika: I think so – in one of my EPK interviews, those questions were all being raised – what would it mean for someone to come back from the past who had passed away. It makes me think that might be coming up in future shows, but I don't know for sure.

PW: We're about to head back to the alternate universe again ("Immortality" on Feb 11), will we see Alt-Astrid?
Jasika: Yes you will! And she's still doing her totally smart but socially disconnected thing but there’s a really quick scene in the situation room where you see a flash of romantic interest in another person. It’s quick but could be built upon. Or just left for the audiences to know that Alt-Astrid isn’t totally emotionless.

PW: What about "Reciprocity," tonight's episode -- what can you tell me about that?
Jasika: Peter starts to come into his own in this episode. Except for Broyles, he's really the only person that doesn’t have a doppelganger and I think -- in terms of the story the writers have created -- there’s some balance about having both characters. They’re complimentary. But because Peter doesn’t have that it’s almost like he’s soaking up too much of the bad – it’s pretty creepy. You get to see Peter being kind of dangerous in a way that we’ve only hinted at before. You’ll see him veer into scary territory in regards to the Doomsday machine. You wonder if he’s taking control of the machine or is the machine taking control of him.

PW: Filming-wise, you are a few episodes ahead -- by that point has the real use of the Doomsday Machine become clear?
Jasika: It's not. We know it has something to do with the war between universes, but I don't know if that means survival or destruction. But you’ll find out in a few weeks that something else is going to determine which universe survives. And that part doesn’t have much to do with the machine at all – it has to do with Olivia & Peter.

PW: Oh. Is this the rumored Faux-livia pregnancy?
Jasika: That could potentially be what I’m talking about – we all know Peter had sex with Faux-livia. What that means in their universe compared to our universe will be revealed in an upcoming episode that we haven’t shot yet. I don’t’ know for sure, but it raises the question for sure.

PW: Personally, I am eating up this love triangle Peter has with the same-ish woman -- as a fan of your own show, what's your take?
Jasika: You know the scene where Olivia realizes Faux-livia has been living in her apartment and has that breakdown? The way Anna [Torv] cried her face off, I almost lost it. That was the first time my heart really, really went out to Olivia and I fully realized how she might not be able to recoup from that. She’s already so guarded and so stand-offish, this may have pushed her over the line and I don’t know if she can come back.

PW: So you're Team Olivia?
Jasika: Well ... what if Peter loves Faux-livia? What if your soulmate lives in another universe? Talk about a long distance relationship! There’s no phone to the alternate universe. It’s a wonder that anyone can survive that! It's funny, the number one thing fans ask me is if Olivia and Peter are going to consummate their relationship.

PW: Isn't it interesting how this job makes you hypothesize on fictional people's sex lives?
Jasika: [laughs] I know! It’s pretty hilarious. I’ve been asked more than once if I was a scientist before I was an actress. I take it as a compliment, and I think it’s funny. But then I have to disappoint people by telling them how sh**ty I was at science. [laughs] But, I play a great one on TV, so that should count for something!

PW: I have to ask -- last week we got another great Walter-warping of Astrid's name. What's your favorite?
Jasika: [laughs] Assturd still holds first place. It doesn’t get better than that, but Ostrich is a pretty great one too, but Assturd is so out of this world -- it’s almost up there with Vagenda!

PW: That particular line had me laughing for hours.
Jasika: Then you can imagine how difficult it was to keep a straight face while filming that scene. It’s pretty wonderful. I’m glad you appreciate it as much as we do.

and what about this?? it seems peter is going to turn bad peter!!so the machine is going to afecct him just not physically but also his mind. Peter from "What lies bellow" is going to come back!!

If they do have Peter chose fakelivia and their byblow..... a total f0ck-you to the P/O fans, in keeping with him sleeping with her--it will be easy to stop watching the show.

according to this promotional photos ....people are trapped in amber... is going to appear some kind of black hole or someting similar??so they have to use the amber to contain it.Walter in season 1 found out how to create amber ....

.... so is "someone" sending lumps of amber-with-creamy-human-centers over to the Blue universe from redland? Those have people in them, and if we had a leak here, the wouldn't be spraying it on people then cutting them out at MD.
