Maybe Peter's being special doesn't let other souls to go inside his body
I don't know if i have to find interesting the switch of souls between Bell and Olivia, unless Bell reveals something important about peter and the machine too.

No, I mean... how did he "pull her out of a moving car" ? Do you think he could have done something to her in the Season 1 finale ? That would allow her to be a... "host" ?

Oh... that's more confusing, even. I wonder still how he did that, but... make her a host? I doubt even Bell would forsee his death.

I hope Fringe doesn't get all religious on us. Even pseudo religious.

Maybe not foreseeing his death, but knowing she might need some of his knowledge ?

hmmm... you remember the Stargate episode in which Jack put his head in that Ancient thing and it injects "ancient knowledge in his brain".

(Here's where the science geek in me parts company with the sci-fi geek in me, that ancient gene/soul occupation/mysticism= nails on blackboard, to me.) I have to watch those types of episodes for the acting and sets to keep from shouting at the tv.

Having said that, I think rather, Bell would contact Bishop via dreams or something. Don't I sound contradictory? I know I am...
------ I guess what I dislike about those sorts of pseudo or overt religious devices in programs is the moralizing that usually goes with them, or the elevation of a character to god-like status.
