I was tired when I watched it, but I though the paper Sam got from the crypt WAS the original, and it has both Olivia and Peter. It doesn't have a deckled edge, but paper or parchment can be cut, and that one was meant to be curled to show the mind bending power of Olivia has to work in concert with Peter. (That was way too much freight for one prop to have to bear, but the rest of the episode was so wonderful, I don't care.)
Off to look to see if that was the original...............

ETA....... according to the manuscript, what he shows her from the crypt is original, and the books etc were copies... and the original refers to the key and the crowbar.... but still it is hard to know what to make of Sam... though he did enable her to stop the machine to let Peter use it. Confusing! I hope we figure out next week what his plans are.

Two neat things I saw re-watching this last night: in the memories where Peter's life flashes before his eyes as he steps into the machine, he remembers mostly Olivia and some Walter; and he remembers both Olivia in the tulips when they were children and being Vision Peter in Olivia's mind and kissing her while she was trapped over there!

I was looking to the promo and in the funeral scene nina was there. you can't see her face but the clothes she is wearing are very nina's style.she is wearing a black hat and she is on the right next to a white baldman (not the observer).
also next to broyles are 2 woman. I think astrid is one of them and the other, I don't know if she is a girl....(peter's and olivia's daughter??).....no idea

Very warrior style, sending her off in a burning boat; fitting. Olivia & Peter = vikings!

That's the End of Dayers' folks book... I think they are the new ZFT'ers (maybe the future of ZFT). Their savior, and their idea of a savior, might be much different from that of the first people. Falls in the category "Be careful what you wish for."

They sound a lot like the religious zealots we have in this country who think that they can bring about the 2nd coming by getting up a religious war between Israel and Palestine--forcing God's hand for the End of Days. It's a nice touch on the part of BR, I've been wondering if they would use other religious oddities and apocalyptic thought starts with relgion; lots and lots to mine there for fiction.

What if Walternate had kidnapped Peter & Olivia's daughter, in vengeance on him for siding with Walter?
