Yes. His mother will play a big role. She probably knew all the experiments that walternate did to Peter when he was a boy. Maybe she knows that Peter has special powers.

And he's drinking, too.

She seemed to understand something when he said his mother on the other side had committed suicide.

White wine! They have connections, nobody else probably has those things---palatial residence, food and wine. This will bother Peter to see.

When Peter has his hand on that thing, and it becomes blue, it reminds me of the chair in Stargate Atlantis, you know ? The ones that control the city and the drones.
It has a blue light when used by someone who has the ATA gene ?

She seemed pretty powerful, no? She decided whether or not to "quarantine" (eliminate life from) those areas.

There are several possibilities for next episode to end.

Either Peter is attached, everyone realized it was a mistake, the thing is about to explode, and Peter decides to sacrifice himself... Walter comes up with a solution, tells Olivia, who tells everyone to evacuate the building, runs to Peter, hugs him and recreates this "protection shield" she had created when she was young at Jacksonville Day Care Center.
Everything explodes, but they're safe.

Or, we're gonna get some serious shocking ending, like Walternate wanting to erase our universe, and at the end, when we think it's ours that survive, they notice some very slight changes, like Elizabeth being here, or Charlie, or Lee, or a statue or something.

Or, the thing explodes, killing Peter, and this time it's Walter(s) and Olivia's turns to bring him back to life.


There are a lot of possibilities.

And at the end, it's not an alternate universe we discover, but another dimension...

I really want to hear that conversation between Theirlivia and Peter and Bell, and what that round device is. Maybe a counter measure?

Yes, and I hope this scene happens after -well, obvisouly it does- the Olivias fight.

So she can tell him Olivia misses him.

He'll know in his heart she does, but be glad to hear it from TheirLivia.

I want to see him hugging Walter, glad he has survived being shot.

Why don't they all do that ? Olivia hugs Rachel, I say, Olivia, while you're at it, why don't you hug Peter ?

I'm still thinking she will. P/O kiss in the finale....

Oh! And will Gene Cow-an go with, or will she stay and take care of the lab all by herself?

I was thinking, uh, on page two, I think ? About Olivia creating that protection shield like when she was a girl ? And Peter could be the power source. (or vice versa) A way to save each other.

And one more once----------as I have scribbled a bit in a fanfic----what if Peter knows something is up? What if he has gone as a double agent, with Broyles' knowing? Clearly he and Broyles have been discussing things more in detail than they have been letting on...there was Peter's list of demands, including a new command center for FD, and the fact that he didn't hesitate when BadWalter told him he could never come back. Plus the whole family history of spying and double agentry. I suggested this in Bishop Revival discussions and really am thinking about it this morning.

What's weird ? The scene from the Motel that Walter is watching.... didn't you find that was a little bit.... too much ? As if done on purpose.

Or as if Walternate wanted Walter to see this.

It seemed to me that they were watching this security tape so they could stick the knife in Olivia and Walter to hear Peter say let's go, when he's told he can never come back. If he'd not agreed, been only taken, they would be fearful but not devastated. It's to drive home guilt and fear and abandonment all around.

O and when Walter sniffs Peter's clothes! So true, so true, so sad... The day my mother died, and I had to pack away her clothes from the hospital, her smell on them........... I'm crying again. For Walter and for me.
