If Bobby was "kidnapped" by the Observer, why bring him back now ?
Why the father seems to see his son ?

He reminds me of the 4400, in which the aliens had abducted people from differents times and brought them back in the present, because they could change the future....

What was it Broyles tells Olivia in the pilot, those kids that disappeared all returned without aging? Though it looks like this bobby has aged?

Ok another crazy theory.....What if Peter lived at the age of first people, built the machine but then there was a cataclism and the observers brought him throught time, so peter could came to another life?

I mean, instead of travelling through time without aging, he could have been living for some time in another year, then being brought back.

Elliot don't you consider the possibility that peter could have lived as first people? If Sam Waiss is one of them and ALIVE () why not peter, especially if he has this "natural" connection with a very ancient machine

I think there are enough storylines to work with, without fusing all the characters into one corner of it. I think Sam Weiss & the first people don't have to be all there is to Peter. If they seriously plan on having a 4th, and more, seasons, there should be more than the first people, the same way there better be something else than the two universes.

I would not go to see the same two teams play over and over and over and over and you get the picture....

Besides, if Peter weren't strictly human, and weren't really the Walters' son, then that sort of erases all their feelings. And his own identity, yet again.

He's enough of a blank slate as it is, it gets to be too much to have him keep changing and revealing, it would be like somebody taking your dinner away from you every bite and exchanging it for a different food.

They nearly destroyed any credibility Josh had built up in Peter with him being too stupid not to notice he was sleeping with a fake, if he's suddenly something not human.......no thanks.

Peter has to be special in a way, but has to stay who he is.
Being from another universe and being part of "prophecy" is already enough.
Olivia being Cortexiphaned, probably linked to the Bishops somehow is enough, too.

I odn't like TV shows in which everything happens to the main characters.
That's just not real.
And that's why I like "monster of the week as A storyline" episodes better. (With a B storyline about the main characters).

Too special = less interesting.

I' m sure peter is walter's son.....remember the bishop revival when walter mention " his noble brow" in comparition with robert. so no doubt about that. But about peter's mother I'm not very sure. Some people think maybe elisabeth couldn't have kids so nina helped....
other posibility is that bell knew about the prophecy, he made the machine's design, he introduce elisabeth to walter because elisabeth has something in her genetic or dna that was important ......
