I just find that annoying. They clearly have no idea how it works.

It's like their publicity and promotions department are being run by a guy who's napping most of the time, then on friday afternoon he wakes up and remembers he's supposed to be doing something, anything.

And then John Noble has given oh, about 35 interviews, about young Walter and our Walter and their Walter, and about when Peter finds out and what he does, and says he thinks (envision me rolling my eyes here) that Peter and Olivia's relationship will be not of the romantic kind when this is all over. But then he also says Peter and Walter will fix things up, so maybe he's wrong about that.
He does say Josh does some amazing acting in these episodes (sounds like Peter will be off on his own for a couple of eps)-----and I've been wondering when someone would point out that Josh isn't only sexy but can act, so that was nice to hear.
If you guys want links to these articles, I'll post them, but honestly? Bored now.

Yeah, they ignored us a bunch the first several weeks, now it's like working under the sink and the pipes burst. I mean, I am really glad they are developing Peter, and giving him so much more to do than smirk; and am enjoying finding out the back story...... but stop teasing and GET ON WITH IT.
In the car this evening, listening to some blather about some tv drama, I thought, yeah, if they yank us around with Peter/Olivia will they won't they, torture us by backing off their budding romance..... too much like a soap opera. But then I remembered how much Fringe isn't a soap opera, and how they've come through on other things...
Mr. P, Mr. W, I'm counting on you to do us right.

Fringelatino has a newer version of the '10 things you need to know' vid, and a couple of other vids that look like we've seen them already: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-K4EEdqW1Nc
I liked the theme, but the episode--meh. I can see why they are hyping it as the best ever, because it was truly achingly sad (I cried buckets)--and that gets awards more than sweet or funny do--------but sad is not enough for me. Maybe because of all the promos, but it just felt like I'd already seen it. The only thing in it that was new was really something nobody should be surprised at--I'd been expecting it (I've been wondering this past week if it still pertains, Peter is pretty closed mouthed, he still might see that).
I did like that we see how narcicisstic William Bell is.
Then of course I was really cheesed off by the promo at the end, Pinkner & Abrams are quite cowardly, or hypocritical, can't decide which. Both maybe. Feels like it did with the Rachel thing.......... either treat the Benchwarmers right, or quit teasing us.

I thought it was a surprising turn of events that he went over to cure Peter, not to steal him. For a year and a half I've been thinking of Walter as many things, but one of them as a very selfish father. It was nice to see another possibility emerge, that the mother was the one, with that hug, that completed the kidnapping.
The final scene with Original Peter giving Dad his silver dollar, then dying, that was incredibly sad.
A comic relief moment was seeing how young Walter and Nina both looked and acted. Hazy camera filters aside, somebody did some GREAT makeup on them!
The "window" was so voyeuristic, but I suppose if I lost my son I'd be compelled to watch another version of him.
I've retired my Benchwarmer card for the moment. They want to tell one story, and for now it's not about romance. What else is a "Fringe" fanatic going to do?
I can't wait to see it again. John Noble was fantastic, he obviously has no problem carrying a show!
But, yes, I want more answers, and I may have to depend on Xeen and Elliot for my Romance Fix!
I'm glad the show is back! And I want to shake the screen, saying, "Peter! Guess what? You Glimmer, Dude!" And get it over with!

Jarrett yes but I don't know Philip Aaberg. I have to say that my culture in the jazz domain is pretty poor after 1967 and Coltrane's death (except for Bill Evans, my great love, and a few others... but this is off topic, isn't it ? ) - i'll look for Aaberg.

Most of mine is from that era too, but I love and adore piano, if I could play like Jarrett........ Aaberg is a Montana composer/pianist, he played our theater too.
I had the great good fortune to take a history of Jazz class in college, our homework was to listen to hours of music in the music lab... we could get extra credit by listening to more on the list, I was in heaven.
One more name, though not piano: Papa John Creach.

*turns pink*
It was heartbreaking, and those scenes were beautifully done. Since I get so tangled in the emotions portrayed, it was very hard to watch. (My eyes are still swollen from crying.) I had thought Walter had gone mad with grief and stolen Peter as a replacement......nice to see he went to cure him, not to take him (though you know, he could have just gone to other Walter and given him the formula-----------bit of convenient tv cheesy writing there...)
My guess on the benchwarmer front is that they want to have their cake and eat it too--a cynical thing of teasing us along with the romance which they foreshadowed from the start, and hint at all along------but are afraid of the comic book fans, or too cowardly to write romance.
-------And, eh, the whole thing of Olivia being that upset at Peter being from Away? Seriously? After what she's seen, and done? That premise feels completely false to me. Why would she be scared? Why would she be worried over what it "means"? Peter hasn't changed, just her perception of him. He's still the same man that kept a virus from killing her, that didn't rat on her when she nearly killed him, that loves Walter. It's like having her suddenly be afraid of him because he was adopted. That is a really weak link in the story for me.
What I think they've done is sort of write themselves into a corner, and are scrabbling to write themselves back out of it. The whole Peter Reveal, mind blowing, block buster, world changing........... except that in the world they've already shown us, bah, not so strange. So in order to squeeze some ratings out of it, they have Olivia all freaked, and disrupt their romance, tease us about whether she will rat Peter out to Broyles..... ------JUST GET ON WITH THE STORY NOW GUYS.
*p.s. the whole Peter from another universe being a problem for Olivia thing? Maybe she'd find it a turn on...*

Teaser : I loved the theme, the location titles, and young Peter. And the Observers going to the movies. The rest, there are some things I'd rather have not seen.
