| This is the first time I've missed an episode, but I'm excited to hear what others thought of it. Sam Weiss is back? | |

| Well, if there is anything I missed that I would not want to miss (anything that is not fakelivia+Peter grossout), go ahead and spoil me (I'm not spoilable; I read books from back to front some times, it doesn't ruin them for me)-------------my PM box is right there. | |

| Ratings just in: - Quote :
Next was Fox care of underratedBones (#2: 5.9/ 9), which does not get the attention it deserves, followed by lackluster Fringe at a fourth-place 3.2/ 5 in theovernights at 9 p.m. Even when the DVR usage is factored in, Fringe isstill a “loser” from a ratings perspective. Charts and article here. | |

| OKAY. +8 >>> Nina : "It's just a drawing. NOT DESTINY."+5 >>> One of the location is in France. +2 >>> Kevin !!! Whoo ! And I love that they made Gemini's eyes... er... we call them "vairon" here, I have no idea of how you call two eyes of different colors in english. NB : Jones' eyes were exactly like that after he star trekked himself out of prison, and so was the bunny clone in the first Fringe comics. -5 >>> Not enough Kevin in the episode. -10 >>> P/AO bed scene. -5 >>> The scene between Walter and Becky was not necessary. All these case scenes were a bit annoying. +1 >>> AO realizing that she may be wrong. +2 >>> O/AstralP shower scene at the end. +2 >>> First people explaination. +5 >>> Return of Markham. +5 >>> Astrid finally doing something ! Cracking the code, etc. That'll be a 10, despite the P/AO scenes. - Quote :
- SEAMUS WILES = SAMUEL WEISS!!!!! grins
I KNOW. CREEPY, isn't it ? I was laughing at loud, trying to pronounce that damn name.... to finally figure out that he was Sam Weiss..... Seriously, "Seamus Wiles" ! * | |

| Seamus=shay-mus. Irish.
I could never give anything a 10 with P/AO, I'd rather have them both..... dead. *Looks directly at Mr. Pinkner and reaffirms that.*
But I will watch the episode if I find it, to see the Nina bit. The bits on tumblr this morning made it sound like it was going to be the return of LOST, which would be too annoying for words. | |

| You HAVE to listen to Nina saying (she was talking about the machine/Peter drawing) "It's a drawing, NOT DESTINY." You HAVE to.
And the Astrid parts, too. Astrid cracking the code was cool. And Markham. And Gemini. | |

| Nice of Fox to make it available the morning after....
*looks up at clock, 4 more hours to go at work*
It's only 7 votes as of 2:14pm Central time Friday, but 7 voters at IMDB gave this episode a 10 out of 10! *starts itching* | |

| So, I did see it... trying to use Lez' method for calculating:
+7 for Markham (would have been higher but he was not snarky, but pleading) +8 for Nina's discussions with Walter. Excellent. +5 for Astrid not only knowing something, for really having an important role. More please. +8 for FINALLY moving the story forward, fakelivia not being able to suppress everything +5 for having some urgency & action +7 for Peter saying there has to be another way +8 for Walter helping Peter with the project, to protect and help Peter--and everyone; he's being the adult in the situation!! Finally! (I also liked him dismissively calling Peter Einstein about the tapes; he's treating him like an equal partner.)
and
-8 for the hilariously bad science. Things on the planet since before the dinosaurs would not only NOT be at the same lat/longitude, they would not survive geologic processes. This made me laugh out loud. -8 for everyone still falling for fakelivia -8 for the amnesiacs just being left to--------to what? no answers at all. That one little scene with Walter comforting the woman was beautiful, but not enough. -8 for Gemini having met fakelivia before. He recognized her! So, in that what, hour at most while Walternate was prepping fakelivia to take Olivia's place, he introduced her to Gemini and Newton (both of whom were over here already)? All that-- was in place before the switch?-----------they were planning it ahead? What? It just does not hang together at all. -9 for them not even mentioning Newton or his death in custody. Or his lumbar chip. Surely Walter and Peter would be working to pull information off it? Surely massive dynamic would have a way?
---------so, I think that means a '7'. | |

| And -1 for the mistake about Bach's piece in the lab with Astrid : not the Art Fugue but the famous Air from the Orchestral Suites Nr.3 BWV 1068. | |

| YES! Thank you! I was startled when what I heard was not what the album cover showed. I still feel this morning like I have a splitting wedge stuck in my brain, so am not listening to music yet--------thank you for figuring out what was wrong!!
-----------------like the geology, that was a needless mistake. Does nobody know what a fugue sounds like but you and me? | |

| Latin : fugere = run away, run off, leave.
And, do you think it was really a mistake ? Because people were talking about the writing on the CD Peter was holding in the Northwest Passage, so this could also mean something.... like "something is wrong" or "there are people who don't belong here". | |

| The writing on the cover may mean something, you are right. But I think it was a fail on the music, as the geology was a fail. The music they played wasn't a fugue, it was an air. I'm doubtful anyone who isn't a classical music fan knows the difference. | |
