Yes, they were on Mrs Merchant's table, at the end, when talking to Olivia on the couch.

Oh, right! I saw something, but I was mesmerized by Olivia's face.
How cool was that, she and Peter saved both universes a bit, by believing in finding another way---------and by focusing on the real people they loved. Awesome.

So, the glyphs spelled "hearts", so cool!
I gave it a "10", but it disturbed me. Husband fell asleep during the show, so I'm showing it to him on hulu, we'll have what I hope is an interesting comparison about it. Not this time about P/O, but the events in "6B".
See you soon!

Disturbed you? The only thing that 'clanged' right off for me was Walter's spiel absolving W'not! -- . I think there were some things purposely written so we could take them to mean widely different things, one of which is to keep us scared about P/O, but I'm not going to rise to the bait on them.
It was unclear if the softspot was there anyway, or made by the grievers---I hardly think the latter though or we'd have massive holes here and there all over, what with tsunamis and what not. I think they just made it worse.
It's good to see Walter pro-active, too; trying to fix his son's broken heart, trying to think abead of the hole in the universe.
I loved Broyles' offhand "I beat him at golf!" I can just see it. I'll re-watch and think more in detail later, right now I'm still floating.
I've never felt this happy about someone ELSE having sex, before! Good job, Pinkman.

Come on, did you recognize the mystery jukebox song ?
You've heard it before. On the show.

I couldn't hear it. So while parts of it sounded familiar, I can't say.
Did YOU notice all the other tulips in the episode? They were everywhere.

...for crying out loud, some of the reviewers are STILL pi**ing and moaning about how Fringe should really be more like LOST... just clicked away from one whining about it. She didn't like "6B" because of the progress Liv and Peter made, I guess she prefers torture. Meh. Why would you still be reviewing Fringe as though it was a bad version of LOST?
Quoting Olivia: "You need to let go" of LOST, and let Fringe be what it is. This episode brought ratings back up, people (including TPTB) want them together. And want them to find a way to work things out for the universes that is not 151% dismal, unlike another show...

Thank Goodness the universe finally righted itself.
Alice, by choosing not to see Derrick again, and P/O, for getting to that destination I've wanted for two years. The anthem from 2001:A Space Odyssey came to mind as they walked up the stairs. Then that beautiful camera swing around to the elaborate wood stairway. I'll bet the writers are sighing with relief at the "Romeo and Juliet" storyline they can put on the back burner now for a while.
The story of Alice and Derrick. I was a little nervous when Mr. Cathy was seeing it again Saturday on hulu. He finished it, I said, "if all that 'You'll cause a hole in the universe' stuff wasn't at stake, would you Still hang onto Derrick, knowing it wasn't him?" Mr. Cathy said, "Yes." And I squealed with relief! It felt dishonest, but I couldn't help it! I wouldn't have been as noble as Alice. Fortunately, she had to lose him no matter what, they'd be dead in a few minutes. But I felt the pull of them wanting to stay together, hard.
This had a great Twilight Zone feel to it.
Walter and Peter's hilarious exchange. "There is no such thing as ghosts." "That's where you draw the line? Ghosts?" Slayed me!
Olivia realizing it might just be a character flaw, that she couldn't get past it, a weakness on her part. There's also been that primeval fan hostility since the first of the year over AltLiv, the destruction of P/O. Olivia did not let Peter off the hook, he walked around on eggshells a bit. Her bitterness would float up into their conversations, I began to swear and tell her in the tv to deal with it.
Josh Jackson fans can be proud of him. He had a surrender in his face about the whole P/O thing. There were some lovely facial gestures and eye expression.
And Anna Torv's job of seducing him as Olivia and not AltLiv. It's been fascinating, playing a character reviled and still My Olivia.
John Noble did a great job pulling the story in his direction as Walter, being both a bit of a drama queen, and surprsing mature moments. Walter getting back some Brain Cells. Walter's also had a sassier temperment about him sometimes this season. Walter's the keystone of the characters. John Noble is amazing to watch.
Voicing that Walternate may not be as evil as he assumed he was at the start. But, c'mon, Walter, closing those blinds on Olivia as the last shot last year wasn't a redeeming start.
"If it's not about physics, it's about people." People controlled the vortex, because both characters on each side had lived in their buildings a long time with long, stable relationships lately destroyed? There was an atmospheric 'fault' in the area, too, right? I doubt that Alice and Derrick could do it by the power of their love alone, but it's a sentimental thought.
The actress playing Alice was terrific!
Derrick had fewer lines, but he was perfect. They reminded me of my husband and me 20 or 30 years down the road.
Hey, Lincoln Lee! Elliot teases me, and I know he may have the complexion of a young milkmaid, , I think he's cool. And I hope I'm right about him loving AltLiv.
I hope Orci and Kurtzman had some hand in writing this one. Over at hulu they have a graphic novel after the episode, and a clip from a Paley Center appearance.

Really? You'd accept a facsimile of Charlie, that wasn't him? That had children with someone else, a life with someone else? That loved someone else? Just to look at him?
I know this was a setup to make us fear that Peter will choose fakelivia, but my take was that she couldn't stick with him when she realized it wasn't her man, any more than Peter will really choose fakelivia even if she is carrying a baby she got from him by deceit.
Cause you know, an entrapment baby is sooooooo romantic and the grounds for a stable relationship.
It seemed the whole episode was about realizing truth, loving for real, and the emotional dangers of holding onto something that isn't yours, or letting go of something that is.

Well, not all alternates are as different as the Olivias.... Some version of you might be different, but some must be incredibly similar, don't you think ?
Imagine (it wasn't the case in the episode) if your alternate had the exact same life in the exact same world, the only difference being the coin toss...... it would be hard not to hold on to someone exactly like the one you lost.

I knew I'd get into trouble with that one with you. I just felt the dying part of the story hit a little close to home. We're not ready for the nursing home, but we can feel mental faculities are not as sharp.
It's a comment looking into the maw of mortality after I've had a long relationship with someone. Of course I would know they weren't my longtime spouse, but he would sound like him, and act a lot in the same way. I could see another scifi story where two characters had done just that.
Of course they would have moments of clarity, where they would know they weren't talking to their beloved. But being with the one they love wasn't an option.
