Eight weeks !!!! Eight weeks without any private joke, any reference to something only them were sharing, come on ! eight weeks without noticing her gestures had changed (and before he caught the thing with her mouth...), her way of speaking, her perfume... And he was sleeping with the other one without noticing anything ? I'm ready to believe it could work 1 or maybe 2 weeks if they are working a lot (even though). But almost 2 MONTHS ! that's completely unrealistic. The writers were heavy-handed with that.

Who else stuck their hands in the air when they saw Astrid's back as she was leaving the lab, hearing the "crrrreeeekkkkkk" of the Tank door, and you cried,
"YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!"
It's been a long, hard, trip, heartbreaking for the Benchwarmers which sometimes spilled over into anger, but my very own Alice in Wonderland is finally back.
*gets on knees, hands clasped* Mr. Joshua Jackson, I've had some reservations about you the past two years. The heart-rending honesty you projected in a previous tv show didn't seem to translate to this one. I know Peter's had his trials of anger with his father and some cynicism with life in general, but the look in your eyes last night in "Entrada" gave me hope you'll be that transcending guy again.
Anna Torv has laid it all on the line with Olivia going through almost having her nervous system cut out (Alt-Bernard! You B**tard! "Dead or Alive?" my a**!). I want Peter to join Olivia on that level of earnestness. Peter seemed on the verge of that last night.
Alt-Broyles! What an amazing feat. He literally gave his life for Olivia and the possibility of hope. There must be a way for both universes to survive! The Alt-Universe episode about his son literally being drained of his sight, along with his life-force, by mysterious kidnappers, would have made any other man like Walternate, severe and ruthless. Alt-Broyles' sacrifice drove home the thought that Both universes are worth saving.
Interesting little aside by AltLiv to the Shapeshifter in the Station, "I thought you (all?) didn't care one way or the other." I'll have to watch that again.
Alt-Astrid made me appreciate her, too, as she did with that funny way of looking down, asking about Alt-Broyles. I'll miss her bizarre way of reciting statistical probability as a way to see the world. But I've missed Astrid's warm and winning ways, another reason to be glad to be back Home.
But, like Sam Weiss over here, I have a thing for Lincoln Lee. If we don't go back to the other side soon, I hope we'll find Lincoln Lee over here. And I hope he's not a Bad Guy! I've had my science fiction heart played with enough this year.

YES!! I have been saying this to myself! All the injokes, the little things that make up a relationship------------ Cathy and I, Lez and I, have in-jokes that would reveal an impostor, and we've never met! That was totally unrealistic, and for them to say 8 weeks? Pathetic. And for the two of them to be sharing bed and table, and him not to notice.....BR made a big mistake. They could have left it at about two weeks, which is what we had been led to believe. It's like they WANT us to hate Peter. Or like they are tired of the show, and getting sloppy.
And now the scenes of Olivia being sick at heart because the man she loves really only loved her for...... her body? Grotesque. Peter's asking forgiveness better be world-class, and I agree, Cathy, Jackson will really have to sell it, because he's not been convincing with fakelivia, with Walter, anybody this season. I was wondering last night if he was trying to look worried about Olivia or pissed at being fooled---he gave in too easily to drugging himself, and their scene in the train station, him touching her--gag.
Them catching fakelivia went too easily, and then they released the typewriter guy without detaining him, searching the premises? How stupid are we supposed to believe Broyles and co are?
Does anyone else get the feeling this was an episode written by several different people, and grafted together, and then edited together too hastily? So many mistakes.

They were looking for that exact piece, they knew it was in motion, they knew she had it........... not even an academy rookie would have missed hunting for it.
Does fakelivia give off "become stupid" rays?

Remember Tina Fey's Golden Globe salute to her "biggest fans"? She calls them by username, 3 or 4 of them, concluding with, "And, 'Cougarwatcher', You can really suck it, because you've been after me all year, all year!" amidst howls from other actors.
I just mention that because I was too happy to have Olivia back to notice the mistakes mentioned. Has anyone seen "The Mentalist"? OMG!
Realism as I see it doesn't exist in many tv shows.
*sigh* I'm just glad Olivia's home. She still has a huge heartbreak to recover from. I'm going to wear my rose-colored glasses and a warm sweater shoulder for her to cry on.......

I chose a chicken way of saying, I think you guys are being too critical.
That is not at all the same as telling you to suck it. Did you ever see the footage? It's funny, it's to her own fans, for being overly critical, it's not to insult anyone.
5.3 million, while being anemic, seems better than a couple of shows ago.
Where's the other impressions? Is "Meh" the majority feeling?

I haven't seen the footage of Tina Fey. If you'll notice, I've not said a single critical thing about Anna, or Olivia. And if you read this morning's reviews---you'd think I was being mild.
Here's one from just now:
Quote :
"Entrada"Serve people baloney for two months and they'll appreciate a steak as never before. So in a sense the pleasure-spike Fringefans like myself have felt upon watching 'Entrada' is a bit of a cheaptrick, and a set-up; this episode is where the previous seven have beenleading us through a winding and not-always-entertaining road.
http://www.shadowlocked.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=1067:fringe-s3e8-review&catid=68:tvreviews&Itemid=77 And his comments about Peter, mistakes and flubs are more pointed than mine.

The kind of fandom you quoted is too easily entertained by tearing a show down instead of cheering a show on. That's my definition of fandom, celebrating things in a show that delight, minimalizing things that disappoint.
I guess I was just disappointed in the reaction, or lack of reaction, compared to the last show, or the last two shows. And yes, I liked it more than most of the shows of this season, except for the amber show.

I'm just glad the whole switcheroo is over, frankly. Drawn out waaaay too long at the expense of the other character/relationships on this show.
I didn't have a problem with Peter at all in this episode, other than him being drugged. Writers honestly! Thought Josh did a wonderful job with what he was given in this episode. Unlike you Elliot, I liked the last scene and the emotions that were portrayed on Peter's face. It said it all.
I think with the alternating episodes, it actually broke up the momentum for the over here episodes. So, to me I couldn't really feel the Peter/Bolivia relationship because there was so much time between episodes. Not to mention how badly written the whole thing was. There was really no buildup, just bam. Not to mention, there was one scene to deal with the whole Walter/Peter lie about being stolen from the altuniverse this season. We haven't had much interaction between Peter and Walter this season. So, for me this episode was the first real episode for Peter this season. As somewhere else said he has been neutered this season and his role now seems to be reduced to a love interest to Olivia. (Just no, his character is more than that).
I really enjoyed this episode. It was abit anticlimatic I think due to them really stretching out Olivia's coming home. I also agree in the end, so much happened and it seemed because of that it was all rushed to facilitate where they wanted to be at the end. Loved the use of altBroyles. He was really the only one I liked over there and as mentioned loved how Peter went back to his old self again in this episode. The need for Peter to be totally different this season by the writers, has really been a big flaw for me.
Looking forward to seeing where they go now.

Unlike you Elliot, I liked the last scene and the emotions that were portrayed on Peter's face. It said it all. I agree---but hope they quit breaking Olivia's wings just to hear her sing. Using Peter to hurt her seemed tacked on, gratuitous. Olivia The Painful. And if he is ambiguous about who he really loves.....Peter the Skank. Which is unlike the Peter we knew from before. So I am waiting to see what they do to his character.

Right. I agree. It feels weird to have stalled out on Peter/Walter, Peter/Anybody. Not that I wanted him to have a relationship with the fake, I don't want to see any of that, (has anyone here but me read 'Marionettes, Inc.?), but that was written badly, I agree.

Me, too. It feels like Peter was shorted mightily, used sort of as a prop. Supposedly we learn about the Infernal Machine, and his journey with it, but so far... nada. And he has been so different, so very bland and emotionless.
I did rather like how, while he and the fake smiled at each other all the time, it was, at least on Peter's face, more of a rictus; it seemed to me that Josh couldn't buy it either.

I Still need to go back and watch again. I was at the end of a long work day yesterday, so I might have been a little more confronational than I meant to be. At one point, someone said, Why are you typing so fast?
I have some home cleaning inbetween.
Still, This is what I love to do, Debate, Discuss and when I get irritated, choosing verbage that doesn't alienate. I go back sometimes, read my entry, and think, "Still got a little pi**ed, didn't ya, Cath?"

...speaking of 'Einai Kalytero Anthropo Apo Ton Patera Toy', isn't it time we found out why Bell had Olivia tell Peter that in the first place?

yesssss elliot !!!!! this a question that i always have in my mind but I don't know the answer.I think this is very important. How is posible that Bell knew this, the only who knew were elisabeth and peter......I hope they give us the answer. Do you think is posible that bell is a fake identity....we don't know so much about him and he said his alter was killed in a "car accident"....Also I consider the posibility about bell being Peter from the future....because of the greek phrase (only 2 persons knew about it, peter and elisabeth) and also there are some expresions that bell an peter have in common...like "mother nature is a bitch"- peter; "pysichs is a bitch"- Bell. And bell was who introduced elisabeth to walter.
??? anyway I think the question about why Bell knew about the phrase is important.....but I think we have to wait to more hints

You're right about walter concerned about Peter's blood samples. I have the feeling that the substance peter injected himself is something else. What if it was something that will activate peter's dormant cells? What if it had to do with the typewriter message "sleepers cells are activated"? The colour of that substance is interesting too. At first it seemed red but then i realized it's the same colour of amber!
